French Inspired Shoot at Kinder House

Posted on

This blog post is just a liiiittle late (we did the shoot in mid November) BUT, better late than never right? This came about when the lovely Alanah (from Patterson Brown Photography) reached out to us. She was in a similar boat to me, having recently ditched her day job to pursue something she loves and when she explained her vision for the shoot, I was all about it.

We shot the olde style Parisienne inspired shoot at Kinder House in Parnell. This beautiful stone house is one of Auckland's most historic (and apparently haunted) public houses and with its original fixtures and features, lent itself perfectly to Alanah's vision for the shoot.

The florals we created were a mix of dried and fresh blooms in a deep palette of burgundy, sage and cream. Alanah's photos will make you wish you were being whisked away on a romantic city break.
